Zeitgeist - A Short Review

Having watched the Zeitgeist movie, I found myself with these brief ideas about the work of the author(s):

They read some books concerning the matters talked about in the movie, made a very good summary of the readings, embeded it into a very good work of image edition and with a attracting speech. So we have mostly good points concerning the more technical attributes of the movie. But in the end of the movie the authors had their chance to express their own opinion about everything they discussed and they failed to do a good job.

After showing the reality of 11th of september attack and the ruling powers of the world, based on undoubtful images, good interviews and their knowledge got from their readings (which is listed at the end of the movie), the authors were seeing the facts from a privileged position, they had conditions to point  out that the attack was a inside job, etc, that the social and economical structure is based in such and such a way by the bank owners. In short, they had all the relevant informations of a real situation of the world (at least they took it to be the case), a situation of injustice, etc. Up to this point it could be said that their books were well read. But then, what's the next step to be taken by a informed person about it? Surely, it is to give answers on how this situation of injustice could be overcome. And it needs to be done under a considered judgement about the informations you have in hand. The informations they had. But they didn't have political maturity to consider that the way to overcome the situation they had so much care to put under light should be through political analysis. What, instead, did they do? They started talking about love and interconection of the selves, bla, bla, talking about all the bullshit we can find on tv and stupid magazines, the authors used images of ghandi, Lenon, etc, the open minded icons of political action whose faces are shown all the time by the mass media they criticized before. All this to give us an answer on how we could overcome all the injustices they put public. They unfortunately have shown their complete political immaturity after giving us a shocking bunch of images and infos about our "all for power" world. So, as conclusion, I recommend all to watch Zeitgeist (specially part 2 and 3) but to skip the end for the sake of doing anything else of value.
